I apologize if this is an ignorant question, but how many people eat Paleo because they're Celiac? I've always had a hard time absorbing iron and take supplements. I just can't eat enough foods to be at healthy levels. I had my blood checked last year at the Dr. and she said I also needed a B vitamin (can't remember if it was B6 or B12). Someone mentioned that I might be Celiac.
I've noticed in the last three years that my hair has been thinning, and I'm not terribly stressed or anything (I'm female). When I looked up hair loss reasons, Celiac came up. I couldn't believe it. I haven't been eating strict Paleo, i.e. I've been cheating a lot. I might have to stop cheating…
Anyone else experienced this? Did your hair grow back, and did knowing you have Celiac make any difference if you already eat Paleo or did you have to change your eating habits a little?
