Are you getting a burning pain at your elbow? Is your neck always stiff and tense? Does your back often feel tight?
If your muscles and joints often feel soreness or painful symptoms, then you may be causing trauma in your soft tissue. You might be developing a repetitive strain injury, or hurting your myofascial tissues.
If you are frequently feeling pain and tension in your muscles and joints, then there are a few things you need to know so that your pain does not become an injury.
First: Do you often engage in activities that require repetitive movement? Perhaps your work, or some of your hobbies, is repetitive.
Second: Does the pain return within a few days or weeks, even if you received therapies that gave you relief?
Third: Do you get pain in the same muscles, joints, or general areas?
Fourth: Do you feel burning pain, inflammation pain, or a painful soreness that makes you discontinue activity?
Fifth: Does your pain return, despite using a variety of therapies like massage, acupuncture, or exercise?
If you answered Yes to these questions, then you may be seriously injuring your muscles and soft tissue. Eventually, your doctor will tell you that you need injections, medications, or even surgery.
Good News: If your pain is due to repetitive movement, there are many natural therapies that can provide relief and reduce the damage to your tissues. Consider targeted exercises to balance the workload of your muscles, massage therapy to relieve and restore tissue quality, and other forms of alternative relief.
