It’s just plenty of broccoli, olive oil, a respectable amount of garlic, salt and pepper, and lemon juice. She says you can use a bit of red pepper flakes if you want to heat things up a bit. Twenty minutes from start to finish and you have a healthy side any night of the week.

2. Roasted Pecan Broccoli

Sriracha is pretty popular these days, and it’s a sure to way to improve the flavor of a dish if spicy is your thing. This recipe is short on ingredients, but each one is going to deliver flavor in massive amounts. You’ll want to use Paleo mayo for the mayonnaise, and it’s probably best to ditch the soy sauce, even if it is gluten-free. The combination of sriracha to Paleo mayo is enough to do the trick, and the way they have you cooking the broccoli up first, then putting the mixture all over it, then roasting it under the broiler is a great idea, and sure to produce broccoli that satisfies.

You can’t get much more basic than broccoli roasted up in olive oil with a bit of salt and pepper to taste, and a little garlic powder for added flavor. We always recommend going organic, even with spices, so you’ll want to use sea salt for the salt, and organic pepper and garlic powder.
