Review of Anna Nicole Smith’s Trimspa Diet

At the time of writing this, Anna Nicole Smith is no longer alive, but the fact that she used the Trimpsa weight loss diet pill and guaranteed that it was a success was evident in her own loss of weight. She actually became a spokesperson for the product because of her so-called success. A company called Goen Technologies, which is headed by Alex Goen, markets this product.

TrimSpa is a diet pill that is said to have both a “fat-blocker,” and a “carbohydrate blocker,” and a “thermogenic herbal” component. The pills contain several under-researched ingredients that may or may not contribute to weight loss, and there have been no confirmed research studies on these pills regarding weight loss or safety. One of the ingredients in this product is Hoodia, which is known by the indigenous populations of Southern Africa, who infrequently use these plants for treating indigestion and small infections. The TrimSpa pills are supposed to be taken 4-6 times per day, depending on your consultation results from the TrimSpa website.

The TrimSpa website has several positive testimonials about the effectiveness of their product, but there are other websites that have quite a lot of negative comments. The negative comments indicate that the pills do not work as they are expected to and there are more disappointed customers voicing their opinion strongly against the results of this product.

The pills are considered to be a herbal supplement, but have not been approved by the FDA.

The pills contain chromium which can be harmful to the kidneys if taken in large doses. Shellfish extract is included in the fat blockers and cause very severe allergic reaction to people who are allergic to shellfish. There is a thermogenic ingredient in it that is a diuretic which can result in weight loss through water loss and this could eventually cause dehydration. According to the directions, a maximum amount of six pills can be taken each day and according to Anna Nicole Smith in a news conference she admitted taking the maximum allowable dosage.

The Trimpsa Side Effects

· May cause swelling and blocking of the throat and choking if not taken with the right amount of liquid.

· Any chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product requires immediate medical attention.

· Any allergy to shellfish or caffeine sensitivity, requires a lower dose to be taken or abstain from taking product.

According to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), on January 4th 2007, they prohibited Trimspa marketers from including unproven claims in their advertising about the product and TrimSpa has agreed to pay a settlement of $1.5 million with regards to a complaint of false evidence of the health benefits and performance of Trimspa. Without Anna Nicole Smith, let us see how Trimspa will be marketed. If the product is as good as it is marketed, then a new spokesperson should not be hard to find.

No particular diet is fully reliable. There are no guarantees as to how much weight a person can lose because it depends on the body type and much more than just taking pills. Proper exercise and moderate eating plan have to part of the plan. The possibility of gaining the weight back is also to be expected if the person does not create a healthy lifestyle instead of relying solely on a diet plan. Do your research before you take any weight loss diet pills. Make sure you consider the side effects and pay close attention to the ingredients.
