There is a lot of misunderstanding, and controversy surrounding the Paleo diet plan and there really shouldnt be.
The Paleo diet plan starts with the simple observation that our DNA has not changed significantly in the last 40,000 years or so. Therefore, by eating a diet closer to this ancient diet, we may be avoiding disease and obesity. It doesnt seem difficult to believe that our present day diets of prepackaged foods, food additives and such isnt doing us any good. In fact, it is proven that these things do contribute to diseases and conditions as well as obesity.
