Do you have the right mindset to gain weight and muscle? If you aren’t happy with the results you get from your workouts and have nothing to show for the effort you put into the gym then you don’t believe you can do it. Have you been working out for weeks, months or years and still pretty much look the same? If you do then you are doing something wrong – physically and mentally. This article is for you.
Labels can stifle your growth potential. Have you been called a hardgainer or do you think of yourself as one? If you do then forget about getting huge. Once you label yourself this way and believe it your mental attitude suffers and you will not put on the muscle weight that you want. Yes, you may gain a few pounds per year but is that really what you want?
Hardgainer does not mean “no-gainer!” You have the potential to build muscle bulk. Everyone does. You have to believe that it can be done even though it may be harder for you than someone else. There is no such thing as a no-gainer. If you’ve struggled with weight gain in the past you may fully believe that you are a no-gainer. But you aren’t because they don’t exist. You can pack on the pounds once you have the right mental attitude.
It’s easy to blame your lack of progress on the fact that you may be a hardgainer. If you aren’t making progress it is more likely do to poor workouts, inconsistent workouts, lack of intensity, lack of discipline and poor nutrition. Face it, if you want to really get huge you have to really change a lot of things. It’s not easy but if you want it bad enough it can be done.
Your inability to gain weight and muscle if fueled by your negative mindset. It you believe your a hardgainer and you make everyone else believe it then you don’t have to work any harder than you are right now. After all – it won’t matter how hard you work. You’re a hardgainer. All the intensity in the world won’t change a thing. WRONG! Change your mindset and you’ll change who you are.
