Curious about monthly grocery bills in different countries/regions

I am a single female with a moderately active lifestyle that eats roughly 2000 calories per day. I live downtown in a large Canadian city. I typically buy about 15% of my groceries at the farmer's market/organic specialty store, and around 85% at a regular grocery store.

Each month, I spend approximately:

  • $350 on groceries

  • $75 at restaurants/convenience foods on the go (stir fry while out shopping or grilled chicken salad while out with friends, for example)

I have a feeling I'll be sorry I asked(!), but I'm curious: Where do you live, and what's your monthly food bill?
