Recommendations of where to buy clean meat?

That Purdue chicken video was pretty horrifying. This is not the first time I've heard of how horrible farmers and animals have it though, I already knew of the situation for a long time now, but I guess I just chose to ignore it because:

A) I'm broke most of the time, and when I'm not broke I'm still frugal

B) I'm busy and don't have the time or money to go to a local butcher in the middle of nowhere

C) we have no freezer space

D) my husband (and other people in this house) loves meat too much to give it up, and I don't wanna cook 2 meals (vegetarian and non vegetarian)

E) many companies are making a profit from the "organic vegan gluten free" fad, so there are too many things to watch out for to avoid being ripped off

F) currently, I'm not the one paying for groceries in this house, and I don't think I should ask the house owners to buy expensive meat. If I buy it myself, then I'd probably overcrowd the already very crowded fridge

I need some guidance… Perhaps a list of what brands to avoid and which brands are the lesser of evils that can be commonly found at Canadian supermarkets. Or if anyone knows of an affordable but good butcher in the GTA, preferably north of the T.
