Is Medifast Effective? An Honest Review of the Medifast Diet

Is Medifast effective…or is it simply just another in a long line of diets that are not going to help you lose weight? If you are like many people just starting your research into the proper dieting path, you are probably asking lots of questions about many of the popular weight loss programs. And for GOOD reason! The simple truth is that most diets fail us miserably, and recent studies have revealed that over 80% of dieters will NOT lose any weight on ANY diet…and out of those that DO, the vast majority will not only gain it ALL back…most will be heavier 12 months later than where they started! Ouch is right…:-)

Why Medifast is Different

The simple facts don’t lie….and over 1 MILLION people have lost weight on Medifast, with a dramatic percentage keeping it off long term. Why is this? Of course any assessment is just a guess, but from my own experience, it’s very simply the paradigm shift and empowerment that comes with the Medifast program that I believe makes all the difference.

Ease of Implementation

First of all, losing weight on the program is reasonably easy. You will NOT be hungry (due to the careful consideration lent to the ingredients and nutritional makeup of the meals) and you WILL be eating 6 times a day to boot!

Calorie Control

The real secret to the Medifast diet is NOT a secret at all! You are only going to be eating about 1000 calories per day, and this quite simply is a recipe that almost GUARANTEES success! The only meal that you really have to “think” about is the lean and green selection, which is 7 ounces of protein and all the green vegetables you can eat. The rest of your day is pre-packaged, portion controlled and nutritionally optimized for maximum success.

The combination of these and other core attributes makes Medifast an ideal choice for many – but ultimately, it’s the paradigm shift in possibility, and the BELIEF that you have FINALLY found a resource that works that makes it SO empowering for so many!
