Amount of carbohydrates.

Hello /r/Paleo,

I'm trying to figure out the amount of carbs I should start with on the paleo diet. I train three days a week (1h/day, strength training) and rest four days a week (sedentary on rest days and after workouts). I'm 116 pounds and 5'5". My goal is to build muscle and keep fat off.

So I'm sedentary almost the whole week, maybe some light walks occasionally, I only really push myself during my workouts.

I know Mark Sisson's carb curve recommends 100g-150g of carbs for people not trying to lose weight (I'm not). Would 150g of carbs on workout days and 100g on rest days be a good starting place? Or, as I'm a pretty small and light framed guy, should I make some adjustments and use a lower range? I.e. 125g on workout days and 75g on rest days?

Ideally I'd like to eat the "optimal" amount of carbs that isn't too much to mess up my blood sugar, but isn't too low either to get me into full blown ketosis. Just the right amount to help me recover/get me through my workouts without any issues. This is obviously (probably) the case for anyone. :)

And I believe that Mark includes all carbs into that 100-150g so I'm also gonna include all carbs and not just net carbs. Makes things more hassle-free.

Thanks. :)
